BreadThe main importance of  bread comes from energy production, through the calories the human body produces in the form of carbohydrates.

Equally important is the protein contained in bread, which is 8 percent. This makes it a cheap source for protein. As well, its fat content is low.

However, there are certain kinds of bread contain more fat than ordinary bread, like the one used for hot dogs, bread which is used to prepare  burgers and that of baking bread and butter, no matter variety.

It is equally a very important source of fiber though, according to scientific studies, the difference is not extraordinary in relation to the amount.  Bread and wheat contain about 6 percent fiber. The common bread, butter, hamburger and hot dog, contains between 4 and 3 percent fiber.

Bread is considered to be a good food.
