Vitamin D Helps You Lose Weight

People with higher vitamin D levels before starting a diet are doing better with it than those with low levels of this vitamin, according to a recent study.
The researchers measured levels of vitamin D in the blood of 38 people (men and women) were overweight before subjecting them to a low calorie diet for 11 weeks. We also measured the body fat distribution in these people using a bone metro. Those with higher vitamin D levels also had a reduction in abdominal fat.
Milk, eggs and fish liver oil are some foods rich in vitamin D.
